Take a look at the different SAT prep courses that we offer; each meets the need of a different type of student. Please feel free to contact us if you’d like some guidance. We’re always happy to help you evaluate your options.
SAT Prep: Group courses
The group course is the traditional SAT prep course, just like a class you’d see in school. There is a live teacher in the classroom with students learning. In general, the more hours in a course, the more the score increase.
SAT Prep: Weekend
This course is held on Saturdays and Sundays. This option is popular with students who have busy schedules and want 6 hours of study per week.
Summer SAT Prep: 82 hours
Intensive summer course for students who absolutely must maximize their free time in the summer to raise their SAT scores. Classes are typically held for five weeks, five days a week (Monday to Friday), for three hours each class.
SAT Propel: Intensive 8-hour sessions
Designed for students taking the test soon. Format is full-length test in the morning, full review in the afternoon.
SAT private tutoring
Some students have very particular needs–they want to focus only on reading, for example, or want to go from 1400 to 1500 (or higher). Or maybe they’re so busy with sports and extracurriculars that they cannot commit to a regular schedule. For these students, SAT private tutoring is ideal. Like all our private tutoring, SAT private tutoring focuses on the precise needs of the student and is scheduled at a time that works for both the student and the tutor. Note: We currently offer live tutoring in-person at TestMagic or online using video conferencing software, including Facetime, Google Hangouts, Skype, and whatever else the kids start using next.
